Just watched Michael Moore's Sicko, and I have to say it's a bit of an oversimplification of how rosey things are for Canadian Health Care. But I also have to say, having just been able to get a mammogram and ultrasound for free, that I am incredibly grateful to Tommy Douglas for his role in making that possible. And to dear old Kiefer, for helping with the fight to maintain the health care system. Just 'cause, you know, everything has to relate back to 24 somehow! 

And that voice talking about humanity and winter? Just makes me swoon.
